Emergency Dental Care

Dental emergencies can happen unexpectedly. Tooth pain can be intense, and painkillers are often not enough to relieve the discomfort. In such cases, it is important to contact an emergency dentist right away.

Below are examples of situations that require urgent dental treatment:

Minor Emergency Treatments:

  • Lost crown or filling

  • Filling that feels too high

  • Sharp edges causing irritation to the tongue or cheeks

  • Loose or protruding orthodontic wire

Urgent Dental Problems:

  • Severe toothache (cavity-related pain)

  • Nerve pain (endodontic complaints)

  • Pain after tooth extraction

Acute Dental Emergencies:

Costs

We understand that in an emergency, clarity about costs is important.

The total cost of treatment usually ranges between €50 and €350, depending on the type and complexity of the procedure. You will always receive a clear explanation of the treatment and costs beforehand.

Payment is required immediately after treatment, preferably by debit card or credit card.

After your visit, you will receive an official invoice which you can submit to your health insurance provider for reimbursement. Coverage depends on your individual insurance policy.

All our fees comply with the official tariffs set by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa).
